Nice backboard! This thread makes me want to build a shop and then buy more stuff to fill it with.

Just got started on my new shop/house. Its a 60x90x14.

60x40 of it will be the shop, its got a 10x10 and a 12x12 door on one side, and a 12x12 on the other side to drive straight thru. Also a room with a toilet and a sink.

60x50 of it will be living quarters. 3 bedrooms, two full baths, and a game room. Outside the living area will be a walk around covered porch

Yeah it gets cold as all hell, ya just have to work faster and drink more!

We just keep trimming the metal and the wood. I think the trees are as big as they are going to get. We used a portable saw mill and hand cut all the wood for it. The little building in the pic is a smoke house. Also there is a bathroom in the shop and a apartment above it. I will get some more pics of it.

Mine ended up being a 62x60 (for now, kinda looking and adding an enclosed lean-to off the 14' tall side for an engine assembly room)

A poorboy budget forced me to build at two different times ( that and I thought a 30'x60 was big enough). I recommend saving and building MORE than you want and you'll be glad you did

I did 4 - 12'x12' curtain style and one 14'x14' curtain and one 10x10 ( I hate I did that)

I'm happy with it but it's FULL and I need more room
