Been waiting on parts to come in.But have started welding out the housing.and machining brackets

Also found a co driver Jake Pike and my number 77 for the class. Aiming for the first race in at Rush Offroad this year.

Picked up the cage kit today from welderd.com.Prebent,notch,and labeled ready to weld for $850

Got a little done this week.Parts still rolling in.Really waiting on the BJ eliminators.REM finished the gear to help with oiling and eliminate break in.Cut the driver side housing down for the coil bucket.Track bar welded and tacked in place and started on the knuckle for the JHF high steer kit.Really starting to look like it belongs in a xj.

A 6 hour round trip to terre haute Indiana for a set of 5 racelines for 1100.In the tank for an acid bath. To be powdered later this week

Tires came in today from interco.They released a new SX2 last week in a 35x13.50x17 and 16.And with a tip from them from a fb message asking for a part number was able to score 4 off the blem list $80 ea cheaper then retail. Being 35s I meet the pro rock tire limit and it dosen't get much better sidewall strength then an SX. They weight in at 86lbs each

Was able to get the wheels powdered today and mounted.Look pretty killer. Weight in at 119lbs with 20 psi

Well I tried to pull my UBs apart to machine and broke the inner race on one.Guess I'll try again on a new tinkem.

.Wish I could find a part number for the inner bearing.

no need to disassemble for that. done several of them (to 6x5.5)

Figured I would get something productive done today so 3rd setup started. Next to see all these parts come together.Little grinding was needed to clear the 9.5in ring gear. Little surface grinding on the solid spacer and pinion group was set.Was able to find a 1410 35 spline yoke from Spicer.

Was it just trash on it or is that pinion bearing retainer cracked? First picture of it looks like there is a crack in it just above the yoke to the right.

Started the cage kit today. 4 hours in and 3/4 of the way tacked up. Really happy with the fitment.

Finally got the axle to the shop from work.Little mock up and the coils are where they should be.Will be able to use my old track bar aswell with a little more adjustability. Friday my Ball joint eliminators came in from American Iron.Really happy with the product.

Finished up the 3rd member this weekend. Need to get some straps from Wizzo but its finished.Cage was fully tacked together and pre assembled ready to be finished welded. Should be able to fit 2 spares out the back.

Laid down some paint on the cage today.Really like this steel-it silver.And was able to get a tire bolted on.Man it's nice seeing this thing come together

PCI 50w race communications came in and was told the bypasses have shipped from king

Worked getting upper link tabs built.The 2.25in lowers were definitely worth the price over the old 1.75 lower that will now be the uppers

Bypasses came in. 2.0x12 3 tube piggy backs kings.Jeep is going to ride smooth

Well not much progress. Found a new timken bearing at the junkyard.Machined down today.

also was able to measure for inner axle shaft for dutchman to cut me some Foote shafts.Might short side inner is the same as a 79 ford short side inner.Which will be nice for a spare if needed
