Rear steer 14 bolt 35 spl.gears

Here's what I've heard that u can put Detroit d60 35 spl. Side gears n a 14 bolt Detroit locker,I remember a while back a guy on here r pirate had Detroit locker clutches said there the same 2.5 ton 14 b ,d60...

It can be done with a little machine work but why go through all that when you can get a 14 bolt 35 spline spool from 40spline.com??

Unless the axle is being built to use a factory length inner axle shafts, then custom length shafts will be needed. The new shafts can be made to the 30 spline 14bolt specs. No locker changes needed = less $$ too.

Thanks for the input im building a rear steer 14b and jus trying to c wut options I had since I have a locker n it already custom shafts I guess
