I use them as well, and love them. My question for john's app was that if the wire coating was good for 275*, is the connector up to the task.

No connectors in the header area, so that is not an issue.

I got mine going today. Turns out my gauge problem was a burnt up wire to the sender. I rerouted it from basically on the header to the front of the motor. All works like a charm now!
