i was wondering if 1980 axle is good.i can buy one for 300 with warn hubs. all complete. what do you huys think? worth is or not?

That's just about the going price...
Stock internals (birfields/axles) aren't that strong.
Bobby Long has a fix for that.

I have one on my truck. Works great but I only paid $125 for my axle. I haven't gotten the Longfield birfs and axles yet, but I do have the chromo hub gears so that I could reuse my IFS lockout hubs.
