trans to case info needed????

i got a np205 chevy drop from scrapyard ($20)with adapter,shifter,mount...ect .....think it was bolted behind a turbo 350 (case busted).........***was wondering what else that wud bolt right to????....have a 700r4 and 208case in cj7 ready

The TH350 NP205 will not bolt directly to a 700r4. The output shaft of the 700 is longer than the output shaft of the Th350. You can buy a spacer that bolts between the transfer case adapter and the transmission (the spacer is about 2" thick) or you can buy a short output shaft to go in the 700. I have a 700 and Np205 in my K5, i used the short output shaft because I didnt want to make my drivetrain 2" longer.

Thanx for info....that 700r4 /208 combo is a little long
