Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

I've been lucky enough to be on the UA 4 times. It's fun but it's also a ton of work. Driving for all day then getting to your campsite after midnight. Then you set up your camp and work on your rig so you can make the 8:00 driver's meeting and go wheelin. I found that most guys had more trouble on the road days. Is your rig set up to drive 300 miles in a day at 65+ MPH? Do you have 200 mile fuel range? You'd be surprised how many don't.

The guys on this trip are very lucky with our weather. Try all of this when it's nearly 100* and 95% humidity! On one trip down south, the local trail guide warned us about going off trail to...a....use the facilities. He said..."remember, if it's green it's poisonous".

Some of the UA stories you would not believe. What you see in the mags pales to what really happens on these trips. Good memories for sure!!:redneck:

X2

I was lucky enough to get to run the busy with the group and hang with them for the time they were here. Definetly a good group of guys. Even took Tim Hardy back to my place so he could use my press to replace a rear axle bearing.

Good times:awesomework:

Couple friends from canadia went on this trip sounds like they are having a really good time!!!!:D:awesomework:

Ran into Rick Pewe and Sabastian a couple ours before dark on Monday evening and watched them beat the Jeep in the Little Sluice on the Rubicon. They were just passing through. The guy in the beat up sami passed through a few hours later.

I have some pics. Will post up when I get home.

Rubicon is alot of fun :)

I saw them headed east on I-90 last week past Ellensburg. It looked like one of them was broke down on the side of the road.
