W56 input bearing r&r

Does any one know if you have to dissasemble the entire trans to change the input bearing in a w56 its noisier then ****.

I can't remember if you have to move the counter ballance shaft to get the input to come out. Been a few years since I had one apart.

The input bearing has a clip that holds the bearing on the shaft. Once you have the input retainer out of the way and remove the clip it'll come right off with a little persuasion.
