WE NEED RAIN

Went hiking the AT this weekend, was hot and dry as a popcorn fart Fri, Sat, Sun. But Sun night here it came, EVERYTHING got wet or muddy, hammock, sleeping bag, clothes. Rained all night and all today on the walk in, it sucked balls. But on the plus side, did 30.6 miles from Cades Cove to Fontana Dam. I friggin' HURT. skully

Power is out and has been for hours now, limb across neighbor's service line has it on the ground, even saw a few trees down on 59 on the way home tonight. From one end of the spectrum to the other. ::)

damnit, been raining since saturday night. was out on the lake with some friends, got caught up in bad storm on the way back. tied up with some big houseboats for a few hours. got home late saturday night and it was pretty obvious a nasty bit of wind had blown thru. half a dozen trees down between mine and the neighbors property. tops gone out of several more.

pouring rain like piss out of a boot even now. has barely let up at all since saturday evening.

Co-workers town is all a-blaze right now so he's not in this morning. Magnolia, TX. Fire started from two mulch piles that combusted.
