i'm looking at getting a new welder (i have a millermatic 200)
was looking at the esab 250 but was thinking that it's to much for what i do
the hobart ironman 210 looks nice
the miller 252 is nice but pricey
what are you guys running and what would you do diff. if you could ?
it needs to be 220v the 110v are just to small for what i do

I have Millermatic 252 nice machine. It is a little big for most of what i do but sometimes I do have to it up. I would change a thing I'm very happy with it.

Welding is what I do for a living. Shop welders go Miller anything gas powered go Lincoln. Miller 252 is my vote.

Don't waste your money on the irnoman 210, step up to the miller 212. The hobart has less taps, a smaller/shorter gun and same small ass wire drive as their 110v welders. Everything I've read says the hobart handler 210 is a good machine if you want a smaller welder.

looks like i can get the esab 250 for close to 600$ less then the miller 252
so thats 600$ to put on the new plasma
esab 250 is looking realy good now

we used miller at work but i've always been happy with my lincoln
that said DO NOT GET A MILLER AUTOSET i don't know what is different about them but the brand new one we got flat out sucks the big one.
get a regular millermatic 212+
:dblthumb:
