welder and plasma is it worth it?

I got a chance to buy both a miller econotig and a hypertherm powermax 1000 g3 for $300. They both have issues. Will they be cheap fixes or do I need to avoid them? The miller will work on the dc side but not ac. The plasma will run but it won't blow through the material.

Call Miller and have all the #'s on it and they can give you a close estimate they are very easy to work with

High frequency probably out on welder and the plasma cutter could be a number of items wrong but if it throws an arc out it is probably just a tip or air problem. Could also be bad ground, set on the wrong cut option, or having wrong tip in all together.

I don't think the plasma would be a big problem. I'm thinking it's something with the air. Both of them for $300 is cheap.
