What oil?

As long as the oil you choose meets the API requirements specified by the engine manufacturer your good to go.

Be careful not all synthetic oils are true synthetics, most off the shelf mainstream synthetics are actually type III oils "marketed" as synthetic.

The higher end synthetics are a true PAO (IV) synthetic. Amsoil, Royal Purple, and Schaeffer are some examples.

Baldwin. Donaldson. Fleet guard. Wix are all good quality oil and air filters.

Amsoil= rubbish. I was a class 8 engine tech for 7+ years and I always new the guys that would run the "extended" oil change interval stuff. Horrible bearing wear, everything leaked, if you cut the filter apart it would look like black gum inside. Just put Rotella in. Change it when you are supposed to, with a quality filter. It will last longer than you care to drive the same truck. Seriously.
