Why is cable so hard to deal with?

I work for AT&T so of course I have it for my phone and internet. ;D
They package in directv (I've had not probs in 3yrs and have the hd service w/ dvr)for a discount because our new Uverse tv is not on my road yet, but gettin close :dblthumb:

I will be gettin it when its available b/c it supplies VOIP phone,tv and internet.

This might be b/c you have a hd tv at work with a built in hd tuner.
The tuner in the tv will pick up some extra hd channels without the cable box.....but they are not going to tell you that!!!! :****:

Tv is just a regular old tv thats about 8 years old now. It's old school.

AT&T U-verse, now that's the ticket. Got it for Internet, TV and phone and can't tell you how much better it is than DICKRECT TV. No problems, even when storming.

AT&T is now in the cable TV business as well as interpornet. I used to work for cable tv some time ago, let's just say about when oil was first discovered , and it sucked then as well as now. AT&T packaged up their services and there phone lines just like cable does. I had John G (creator of the Geek Squad) check the speed of my internet and he about shat his pants it was so quick. Got about 20 million channels in hi def and have been happy ever since. :dblthumb:

Yeah I will be glad when it's near my house. My current AT&T internet sucks.

I can't even get internet at neither one of my houses. Got a Verizon air card that i can use at one house, but cell phones or anything that doesn't come in by helicopter you can forget it at the river.

Do you know what speed you pay for now??
If you've had it for awhile we have upgraded alot of areas with faster dsl.
Check to see if you have light,ultra,extreme 3.0 or extreme 6.0.
I have the 6.0 now and its good.
I can stream vids and show good ping when playing ps3.

how do you check your actual speed? We've had the same DSL since like 03. Its the same speed it always has been

speedtest.net or speakeasy.net

Let me know what it is.

Make shure you are only using 1 pc when you run the test and make shure you are not downloading anything.
