• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

wizzo's buggy

first setup lasted 2 years of trail ride'n and then almost 2 ecors races before it **** the bed. the new setup is pretty disappointing to be honest. it has vibrated (even at normal trail riding speeds) since day one and the bearings don't hold up at all. honestly, i wouldn't waste money on this type of set up. there are a couple guys producing quality carrier bearing designs using tapered bearings and races.

buggy been going strong for 3 years now. she's been pretty tough, normal breakage along the way but really can't complain.

sold my tires, waiting on new krawlers to come in. also working on additional atlas mounts. started getting movement between the trans and adapter. gonna add additional support to front output area of the case.

buggy has been rode hard lately. rolled 3 different times on jagger last time I was at harlan. two were me and once was my buddy behind the wheel. it was after midnight :drinkers: and slick as snot.

Looking for some ideas for the front of my buggy. The bar that is there now was needed for racing. I'd like to get rid of it because it's just there and kinda looks dumb IMO.

Help me out, I need some idea's.

The scout woods buggy from ass pirate and crawl mag cover had a sweet simple bumper that would look smokin on that style chassis.

No plans for a factory grill or lights at this time.

I do like that look, reminds me of a sniper fab ultra 4 car front bumper, except scaled back.

I know that spot. I cut the brush off the bottom of it 10 years ago and put tires on the left side, got stuck in the crack and broke an axle... So I wasnt the first to climb it though thumb.gif

Maybe do a "football helmet" style tube work looking deal on the front, tie the upper hoop to the lower rails and do a tube fair lead or something on the front

this is the sniper fab buggy i was talking about, little over the top but the idea is cool

the trent fab front looks pretty good and i think it would fit the front of my buggy pretty well

If you like Will's single seat front end (rightside performance buggy) , we did one similar on my two seat. I think you were at golden mtn and we met on crack-head, but figured this might be something similar you were looking into.

Yessir you're correct, it was at dixie run. I like yours and will's because it matches the rear of my chassis pretty well.

Here's what I did for the additional atlas support.

This plate stays attached to the atlas

Other side is welded to my transmission mount cross member.

This should keep the atlas from moving again
