I bought this yj the end of last year because it had some good parts in it and figured with a little work I could get it to look a little better. While like anything else I've ended up redoing almost everything. When I got it had a 5.3,th350,3.8 atlas, 60/14 bolt 4.56 gears, King coilovers, 44 boggers. It had a broken front Detroit when I got it so that was the first thing to fix. Ended up redoing the front half of the frame/winch area at this time. Also found a bent shock shock shaft so got that replaced

After that work I wheeled it one trip and did some more upgrades, replaced the 2 glass packs with a borla muffler and changed everything to v band clamps. Then I took it on its first real ride at chocco. That trip sped up the time frame for the big part of the build when the rear axle broke taking the the spindle with it at the beginning of hells revenge. Picked up another 14 bolt from a buddy to build then swap in. Built a pretty stout truss on this one

Once I got the jeep in the shop for real axle swap it escalated pretty quick. Cut everything off/out of it. Redid all the poo pipe cage, back seat, new fuel cell, dash and wiring

Went back to chocco and wheeled all weekend with no problems other than a broke brake line. After that trip I decided it was time for some more woopow. Swapped in a 6.0 with a Texas speed cam, ptc converter, sold the non stickies and got a set of stickies on racelines, new walboro pump to replace the screaming one that was on it, replaced the single ended steering ram with a dbl ended one and squirted some paint on it. Then put some softer coil springs on to lower it down. This is where it sits now, getting it tuned for the new engine next week then it'll be ready for a beat down

Thanks for the compliments!

Got it tuned/dynoed and its running awesome! However I had a rear caliper dragging that we didn't catch till it was off the rollers. But with the rear brakes dragging it put down a blistering 213 hp hahaha. After leaving there and heading to hale I played on a couple trails and a line to the trans cooler got plugged with trash and caused it to overheat. Shortly afterwards 2nd gear decided to start making some crazy noises. Once that started I called it before totally destroying it. In that short time I did manage to put a slight bend a rear lower link. So now its time to rebuild the trans and go try it out again.

Some people pay big money for "high clearance " arm like that. All you did was a free upgrade.
