CrazyDaze Cory and I are here with Bobby Long and Odie at the Hammers. Weather is nice. Low wind. We will see what tomorrow brings. I am excited to see what the Hammers will deliver.

Well I am not sure how we are going to go fast through the Hammers but it should be fun.. We wheeled wrecking ball today. Pretty knarly..

So did you break anything?

Is the camera crew on strike, how about a video feed -- :corn:

Larry didn't take his buggy down. He went down and met up with Bobby and Odie and rode with one of them to get a feel for the place. He is on the road back right now but I am sure he will chime in after he gets to town and gets some rest.

Well i AM home. Drove pretty much straight through till middle of Or when Cory took over. Got to meet fred From Peterson's 4x4 right when i left and he saw my buggy for sale on Pirate. He had the orange Tacoma from UA with him and he was cool to talk to. i met a ton of cool people and did a trail with Odie,Bob,cory, and Tina and nobody has done it. Behind camp and we get to name it. Bob and Odie are staying till Sun/Mon. Yea we did like two trails a day. We didn't start till 10/11 am.. Nobody was in a huge rush. Very cool place however and I am excited to be down there with my friends.

Hammers

That was my first time at the Hammers. There must be about 1000 acres of rocks, ravines, trails, and sand dunes, and you can drive anywhere! Some awesome vehicles there also, a C-J 5 with 2 1/2ton Rockwells, 49" Irocs, 454/350/203/205, coilovers, mostly tube rig went with us on a couple trails. Odies Tacoma on 47" LTB's did awesome, a whole herd of Formula Toyotas, a Crewcab Chevy thing with a H-1 rear suspension, a couple Sky Extreme Offroad comp buggies that used 4 wheel steering to climb a 9' dry waterfall, Bobby and Tina flopped (on Tina's side) going over a 5' deep crack. My favorite buggy had all chromoly, TIG welded chassis, aluminum smallblock, MOG-9 axles(4 wheel steer), the guy that built it is a teacher at The Fab School, and all the welds were flawless.:awesomework: Larry was doing some pre-running in his lifted Dodge: 55+ mph over some crazy whoops! (we did a 2 mile section about 6 times). Its too bad we could only stay for 2 days, but we are going back soon. If you ever have a chance to go, don't pass it up.
