Drcoop's 97 Tacoma SAS Buildup... Tons of Pics

Nice job on the build, don't see that often in this town. I didn't realize they do fab like that at Trux, I always thought it was a bolt on chrome accessory shop.

For the most part it is.. I've just been friends with steve for years now.. And hes been kind enough to let me do all my work there.. I cant thank him enough!! Plus Ryan (the installer) is one of my best friends who has a bad ass cruiser. All of us down there love the sport sp that makes it alot of fun..

You got a compliment from Roccrawler. That in itself makes the project worth it :awesomework:

The wallet in one of the pics looked a little thin. :haha:

Nice build, I had to masterbate about 4 times to make it thru all the pictures/

Post up some pics of the glass work you did on your old Chev.........

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you.....the sherminator!!!!

Like I have said... "Ive been sent back in time to change the life of one lucky Toyota.."

I'll see what I can dig up on the glass work..??

And all seems to be working perfectly.. I ran fairly hard in the mud all afternoon without a single overheating issue..

God damn I cant wait for the spring!!

Nice build up!

I don't want to start a pissing match(which seems to happen around here) but you don't seem to mind cutting the truck up so why didn't you run those rear shocks up into the bed a little higher? You look like you are not getting the full travel out of them the way they are mounted?

Its actually perfect.. Fully compressed at the bump stop Ive got about 1.5" of stroke left.. and at full droop right arout 14" shaft showing.. And being 15" travel shocks thats pretty good I think.

Status??? Just been bettin the crap out of it!! Went up this weekend with EWOR had a blast!!

Gotta thank Andrew for Yakima Truck Club for all the great pics!

Enjoy..

are there still trails to run out on Resthaven road east of Selah? there used to be some steep hill climbs out there, but that was way back in the day.
