RE-ntal

Better late than never with updates. :D

I didnt get nearly as much done as I was hoping in the last week but at least som,ething got acomplished.

The engine and transmision were just kina propped in place with stands and the stands definatley needed to be gone for suspension stuff so I made some engine mounts.

The engine and trans will both be solid mounted with poly bushings, before the trans was solid mounted and the engine was not wich led to a big hole getting torn in the frame after years of abuse so this time the mounts are the same so they dont fight eachother.

Pas side engine mount.

The driver side got to be a little tight with the exhaust but I made it work.

The trany mount is just a slightly burlyer version of what was already there.

Making the mounts on the frame permanent.

And the finished product. We now have a mounted drivetrain :cheer:

I also machined all the weld-in bungs for the links. We are using odball tube sizes (thanks genie :D ) and I almost always prefer making my own instead of buying, plus hey, if you got the technology...

Dont we ussually do yor job when its to hard for you guys to figure out...hmmmm..... stairs?:awesomework:

stairs are easy, we just don't get the jobs in our shop for some reason, not our fault. :;

How many spiral stairs have you did?? Conventional and Center less, done that for 7 years, how about you?? :corn:

This one was fun to do, that's a 1"x2" top bar with 1/2"x 1 1/2" horizontals, 1" square bar posts, and a 12" center column with pan treads, all done be me, including the treads. I also measure and detailed this project too. :;

sorry for the hijack Ethan, now were are the latest pics of that rig. :awesomework:
