walla walla
well after last weeks shananagains, i finally tore the front end down to replace the outer 35 spline stub. after pulling the spindle off i found i was in for a treat with the small chunk of expanded axle/bearing that required a press to get out. but when i pulled the inner out to get the rest of the broken outer off i found a funny little supprise. a S shaped inner, it is not what i was expecting for damage( i was thinking of twisted splines) but this was odd. it made me laugh when i seen it, but that is what i get for running 25+ year old narrow inners.:haha:

Bwahahahhahahha!!!!:haha:
Nonetheless impressive!!

WOW i have seen a lot of broken axles. It looks like the inner axle has been in a fire or somethng, being all blue like that and got soft. The outer is just to hard and brittle.
