Best stuck w/pics and details!

This is me way back in the day being a stupid teenager with my first 4x4.

We used to always party at this spot by the river, but this night there was a little berm that I figured I could go right over, and the little puddle on the other side looked like nothing...

This is when I learned what a 'tank trap' is. The little puddle turned out to be 6' deep and it was put there on purpose to keep idiots like me out:redneck:

These pics show it on the way out, it was in further with most of the hood submerged. The rad fan sure can spray when you run it under water!

Had to leave it there overnight, somehow made a cell phone call (emergency collect call on a disconnected phone that happened to be in the truck) and got a ride out and came back with recovery gear (at the time I thought having a shovel going prepared).

Oh yeah and there were some rednecks poaching coons that night who tried to help but all it did was damage their truck.

I was ultra omega stuck last weekend in the tank trap by the wall trail. Someone might have a pic. Tried crawlin it and just sunk.

Many moons ago, newer to wheeling, top of Shaw lake, to the right were you could drive up the ... um... river to the wash out.

**** out my front drive shaft (never did find it) about 1/2 way up and got stuck trying to back out of the creak. More I tried, the more it went sideways and rotated till I was neer vertical, almost pointed down hill with the front in the creak. Course me and my friend had no winches, I think a strap or two and maybe a highlift between us. And no lockers.

Met Crash that day, he pulled me out. I don't think there are any pictures around. Sucked in some seat cushion as the rig was sliding, now I probably wouldn't sweat it.

I saw you posted--and before I even read this--this came to mind :haha:

We never did find the driveshaft?

I NEVER get stuck...

Here's another. This was a bad one cause we were so far from camp, there was nobody around to help, nobody knew how to use that electric winder inner dealy on the bumper, and we had to walk 12 miles in the snow uphill both ways.

A couple years back at sandlake. When I tried to climb it I dug a huge hole with my back tires. the hole back filled with mud. when I rolled back I had nothing. I ended up walking a few miles to pick up the tow rig. a short tug and she was out

looks like that could be painful if something breaks!!!!

Ya the winch is broke /not working in this pic (mile marker FTW :looser: ). The yellow strap has a highlift on it so we could take some slack off the cable.

Searching for stuck pics of Greenie..........:fawkdancesmiley:

I was at bronco fest when they chew that area up. It was just an ordinary path no biggy at all and the broncos ate the thing away slowly all weekend..
