If the the founders of this country, A.K.A. the "rebels" had not put up with a long trail of abuses, and had not tried for quite a long time to reason with the King, then they would not have been able to justify their rebellion to themselves, or the rest of the colonists.:;

I found the right thread this time!

Got an email today from Rep. Hans Zeiger stating that SB 5366 Died in the Transportation committee this afternoon and will likely not be voted on in the House.

I still need to research as to what happened to kill it.

It takes stones to tank something that you might benefit from when it starts to turn sour and the outcome smells like bad news for our sport.

The upside is that SB5366 will be automatically reintroduced for the 2012 session. The good part of that is it will already have been passed by the Senate. The challenge there is that it will be assigned to the same House committee where it was parked. It can be moved forward much more easily than starting from scratch, but we must find a way to convince the majority of the committee members that we have a good idea that benefits them and/or their constituents.
