• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Finally....Da new rig..

I also added a vertical piece to the bottom of it that also goes to the center mounts to not only give a place to mount it but also give the bottom some more structural strength for weight. But its now fully mounted....

So I still gotta trim the top edge down and make a lid but I will do that this week once I get the hardware for the lid to secure it.

Next I got the winch controller mounted with a cover to try and keep the water off it. I know its sealed but figured it wouldn't hurt.

I finally got my license plate :redneck: Been planning this for a while and finally got it done. I gotta get the insert laminated still and I had to made a 1/8" riser for it due to the mounting bolts for the back plate.

So I am at a crossroads as my original intent was to use my york for OBA but its just going to work. Its just too deep to mount it low like I was hoping and I will run outa room to run it higher up.

So my next option is to go back to an electric pump. I have the biggest ARB compressor next to there dual pump (this pump has the same cfm). I know Viair also is a good option but I have this pump stocked away and figured it was a decent option.

So I got the pump mount all done. I still play with the alignment a bit and only took me 2 shots to get the right belt.

So before I could start making the mount for the pump reservoir I had to do some more tin work which basically is enclose the feet area. Started with the passenger side...

So the way I designed them was an inner and outer panel that tie together but at the same time independent. Here the outer panels are removed while the inner ones will still do the job of shielding from the motor.

So with the panels on I can now get the reservoir done and you can see why I had to wait until the foot panels are done. So my original idea was to use the mount that comes with it and another one to the base where its threaded. After some thought I choose to just use the upper mount since source hose is kinda stiff I wanted some give in the mount some flexibility. I may be off base a bit with that idea but in my head it makes sense.

Mine is only mounted with top mount as well. I have only 2 inches of rubber. Don't know if that helps though.

Looks good. 1 thing I hated about my buddies rig was the smooth floor on the passenger side. Feet flopped around like a couple of dead fish. Unsure of your plan for interior though.

Crash, I am assuming the footwell panels are removable for summer wheeling? Having the visibility is necessary to me, I look thru all the time when wheeling.
