x2 tow truck looks badass

Here is the only other picture I could find of it right now and I stole it from google. It is a ranger cab on a cut down duece and half chassis with a 460 4 speed in it. Believe they are 53 inch michelin's all the way around and a 30k lb pto winch on the back along with the wrecker pole set-up. The motor is pretty tired seems like but with the gearing it does alright.

Is that thing like the official local tow rig? Looks pretty good for what it is and that winch on the back is damn serious

You can get ahold of Russ Hogan who runs the campground and he will come tow you back in for a fee. I am not sure how much it costs honestly, a friend had to get his yj towed back with it after ripping two link mounts off of the front and he gave Russ $100 for doing it. Pretty cheap really for getting towed all the way back to your trailer. Russ also has a shop with welders,torches grinders,air and a hoist you can use if you stay at his campground just asks for donations. You will hear mixed sides to the guy so I'm not starting that battle but I have nothing ill to say about him myself.

$50 for a tow from Russ.. But like camping at his place that rate can/will change daily depending on mood... I thought $50 was cheap. Hell I'd pay $100 to get my scrap back on the trailer :****:
