Recommend me some tars!

Well I bought the 42" TSL's on 15" wheels (wheels were 5 lug so I was gona have to get new ones). They had a little inside sidewall rash from a Jeep inner fenderwell but they were GTG with about 70% tread on 4 and 1 was new never hit the ground. Then a guy that was kinda close put up a set of brand new 43" SX's that were 16.5's for $2K. I offered him $1900 if he threw in a set of H1 12 bolts and he bit so hell I ended up buyin em.....hope I dont regret it! Still gota get some pressed centers and rock rings. Them sum heavy sumbitches. The 42's were 131 pounds with 15x10 wheels in em. the 43" SX's were 135 EMPTY! Put some H1's in em and Im tappin 200 a piece easy.

I've got a set of irocks that I've cut the **** out of. I ride with boggers, tsls, tractor tires and everything else and they actually seem to be holding there own against the other tires. Cut em enough and they'll go.

Lets see some pics of your pattern

Front got a straight cut, done a Diagnal cut on the back. They have surprised me how well they hook and I haven't seen anyone else with cut irocks. :driving:

I always heard that Iroks were too soft to cut so I havent done money mine but always wondered how they would do. Of course mine are now about worn out and will need replaced after this year.

I didn't get into them with a tire iron . I used one of those multi tools and just lobbed the whole lugs. There's still enough rubber left that I can use an iron later on but they go a whole lot better now than before they were cut. :dblthumb:

Here is some 37's I cut and sipped they do alright but still don't compare to SX

Will will have to agree I was impressed with how much better my irocs did after I cut them I still hate them but it was a very noticeable improvement

I dont know if I got the sack to cut into my new 43's but sure thinking hard about cutting the strip out of the middle of the lugs....making one bit lug into two smaller.
