Trip to Harlan.

Didn't take many pics. Started with hells revenge
Then went to thd lower rock garden on downy to thd water fall.
Rail bed fish fossil. .
 
Bruiser valve stem and the little rock garden.
Sunday upper rock garden tried thd can opener.
Went and walked around the lions den. Probly the
One of the most intimidating obstacles I've seen.
Didn't try. From there went thru the little stadium to the
Mason jar. It was awesome all three of us made the
Climb with no problems.

Lions den is definitely intimidating at first, but it's actually a lot easier than it looks. Cool little trail no doubt
 
Yeah I watched some buddy's do Lions Den and it seemed like as long as you get around that first tree then it's not that bad. We were checking it out on sunday about 4pm and I had to be at work at 7am Monday and I just pictured getting broke in there and not making it to work till tuesday. I will try it this year though. Going there for my 30th birthday in October and I think thats a good reason to get in there.
 
A couple years ago we had a guy lose an orbital in lions den.....took hours to get him out by time someone went back to camp and pulled their orbital then ran it back to him and swapped it out and bled the air out. Not a place I would wanna break. Lol
 
I hadnt met these guys yet but a buddy of mine somehow got in a real tough spot in Lions Den. Dude was always picking the toughest lines.

Miss that dude like crazy. He got me into rock crawling, passed away at 31 to lung cancer and he didnt even smoke. Think of him every time I hop in my rig.
 
Not sure what happened but my buddies was in lions den with a broke axle when all that went down they was asked if they new anything but had not, I heard the rescue group never found who needed them ??? Last I heard I don't know

One of those hills at middle fork used to have stump up at the top. Bitch would about spin you around if you hit it the wrong way comin out and were in it good. Love playin on them hills.

Were leaving out in the morning, gonna test out the new TJ.
