Didn't take many pics. I won't be back to that place either. Nice park and super nice ammenities, but the most boring place I've been to for crawling.

I would have to say it was fun but there are better places closer to me for sure. For me it wasn't all about the wheeling, I got to finally meet a few more from Hardline and that was worth the trip! Josh, you and Jon need to come up here for a weekend at AOP, you will not be disappointed!

I thought the park was great...tons of places to ride..many new cuts that were fun to tackle. I hate mine busted early but still had a good time riding in a land cruiser with ac the rest of the day.

I am glad you gave the park a go and I am sorry you didn't have enough to enjoy. What would you like to see changed in the future? Criticism is the only way to make the place better and I am ready to here it. It will only make the park better.

He did not get to see the new hill section you all took me to, I think it was Timbuk1 and 2? I would like to see more trails like that, which I know you all were working on! Like I said, I had fun but my junk is not as "built" as some.

The only way I see a full on Hardline weekend is to create a event...make it a weekend that has nothing else going on. Maybe we can move it around from park to park...a few times a year. thoughts?

I vote:

1) Hardline does Harlan
2) Hardline goes to Hale
3) Hardline @ Adventure Offroad
4) Hardline hits Golden Mountain

Re:

The terrain at that place is just not what floats my boat. But that's only my opinion. Some may not like places like Hale Mtn, Choccolocco, Morris Mtn, etc. Those are my spots, because they have tons of technical, difficult crawls with exposed rock and you don't have to travel so far between obstacles. I'm not into the whole highway system of dusty, smooth dirt road like trails. I don't think it's just something you can "create." For Gayzrs, atv's, and folks that just love to trailride or mash yer motor up steep hills, it will suit them fine. I just like to go hit the crazy waterfall, ledges, boulders, rock gardens, or creek bed type crawls.

Stoney is what other parks aren't, especially catering to the atv world, as atv's are either not allowed at some parks, or the terrain is not very atv friendly at most parks. So for that, it serves it's purpose, just not for me. Really digged the nice clubhouse check in station, it had nice toilets lol.

Great time. Exactly what I needed.
Could the crowd have been bigger? sure. But this is an online forum. It'll never have a big physical presence, too many folks from far and wide.

I do feel you on a lot of this. We were sitting around with John and looked up and found two to three trails that need to be cut in. It is sad, but a lot of the rock is covered in loose dirt. I will continue to cut them in and hopefully with some time, rain and brave souls that will come and give it a go, it will progress to the point where you will want to come back.

I thoroughly enjoyed spending some time with your family. When my Jeep is done, I will look you up when we come wheeling in Tennessee. Don't forget to check out Sauce and tell them Kel sent you.

You my friend obviously didn't see the good side of the park, I can ride the whole park and never see the main road much at all but Hey not everyone handle being in gods country (Cullman County) so you just go ride wherever you need to ride, you had already talked yourself out of liking the park before you even went so I don't wanna hear it. The park is awesome and people are great and you don't have to dodge scrap metal or junk to ride but hey that's not for everyone. Stoney is awesome and caters to everyone that wants to put there opinion or time into so that's bout all I got to say about that. :****:

If a problem exists with this park, it seems to have not enough 2, 3 and 4 trails. It's either a double track, or a balls deep hill. Even the first timer with no protection said he wished there were more trails for him. Meaning, some level 2 type trails.

The more I ride it, the more it becomes my favorite place to go to. I LOVE the easiness of camp setup, check in, and riding, AND the staff.

This is almost exactly how I explained the park to anyone who has asked me about it
