The passenger drop 14 fronts just look like it has a weird angle to it with the offset of the pinion.

If a bunch of you start giving people **** for asking questions in a build thread, then this place will get a gay as most of the "bolt on" forums.

I happen to like to know people's reasoning behind building what they build and having discussion about it. (If that person is willing to have said discussion, and if they are not, then they need to quit posting **** on forums)

Sounds like he's putting his money in the right place (big RCVs).

I'm interested as to what knuckles he goes with, and why someone would choose one brand over others. (Even if the reason is "Company XYZ gave me a hell of a deal, they are a valued sponsor of our racing efforts")

If you just want to look at pictures of stuff being built, go to Instagram :gtfo:

Wanting to know why is one thing. That's asking why asking why not this and that and the other that's another thing. If you have read any of wills threads you would understand the people are just giving him a hard time.

I agree. Drivers drop makes the most sense with a 14bt. Although your case will often be just as much of a deciding factor, especially if you've got some money in it already. If he goes super duty outers, I'm hoping he goes with the rcv's that eliminate slugs. They're flashemifyougotem for sure.

Question here from the stupid fella... What makes that shaft a PTO shaft? Still learning everyday..
*NOTE* - any funny comments, jokes, Internet bullying, ETC about my question will In no way hurt my feelings fukers. :woot:

My dream of building a 14 bolt front were recently shatterd when I learned why driver drop works best. BUT from saying it looks better, makes me think I could still build one for passenger drop. Cause I do have a lot of money in my TC, and won't be replacing it. Also, I know a 14 bolt is nuts considering I don't care to ride for 30 min and trash my **** I work my ass off on, it's just one of those things on my Bucket list. I could already hear some really good ones about me not needing a 14 front. :Joc:

Because the spline section and that lil female part are tractor PTO shaft parts. I reckon they work fine, lots of people run it.

Look you have 747 posts!

Do you really think people give him such a hard time for nothing? Look at how many people have had these issues on here....only a handful. Maybe looking in the mirror may help the big guy out.

Does ouverson still sell the machined Rockwell knuckles? Or are they cast now?

Your atlas is newer than most. They now make it where you can change the drop on them. Something to think about there Kush.

For the driveshaft question that's what warfare and plowboy and a lot of other high horsepower buggys are running
And we've seen at least plowboy and showgirl break them. . hell I've seen plowboy break a couple with my own eyes.

I'd sleeve the transition from the female spline to the tube with another section of tube and weld it all together.

that's not what plowboy is running now I can promise you that

I'm sure others have done it. With maybe a little more horizontal separation in the uppers at the axle end combined with a lopro oil pan you might be good. Or maybe it's just time for a tube chassis.

I don't know where you got your info, but i know for a fact Plowboy isn't running pto driveshafts. :****: Glad to see you are upgrading your axle, it's cool seeing you build it on a budget, well sorta :drinkers:

Looks like this is part of his driveshaft . Doesnt appear to be pto shaft. I ran this same shaft. Plus they guarentee it not to twist
