***Money Pit 2.0! 4dr Colorado, axletechs, supercharged 6.0, 54s***

Going to be a wicked build! I've been wheeling all my life in stock to mild stuff nothing full blown custom. I have a stock 98 ZJ for time being, nice and comfy. Even if a soccer mom ride. lol

My plan is to leave the front alone for most part and have same style of Exo cage. I am suppose to go get my transmission today. I also had my Doug thorley v8 colorado headers show up Friday!

I also picked up my axles and a few customers axles from the sand blaster

Was going to use current performance lsx swap harness for the colorado but they want me to use the ls2 ecm and tcm. So it would be like 1800 for harness and all parts for it.

So I have decided to chunk the factory cluster and put my own gauges in and run a stand alone harness.

Here is gauges I'm thinking about.

I'm using current performance for my LSA build. I am using the factory E67 ECM though. First time I have used them for a harness (and they are local to me) and I am VERY impressed with the quality of the harness. I was able to throw down 760 HP at the crank with very little work, and I'm making 500 ft/lbs of torque at 2200 RPM

Awesome what all is done to ur build?

By time I bought harness, new ecm, pedal, tcm, throttle body ect... Was gonna be over 2k. So that's why I'm going this route

Ok sorry I haven't updated in a while but I have been super busy with ice storm and Christmas.

I sent my blower snout to lingenfelter to have the pullys changed and a little machining done. ( so there hub will fit)

Also I tore a AXLETECH apart just so Me or my buddies have spare parts for those long trips, I did get the new tranny installed and I plan to start on my actual axles for the build tonight!

Also I got a sneak peek of my wheels stazworks is building

We went wheeling the sat befor Christmas

Couple quick king pin removal tools I whipped up in bout 5 min. Lol

Mild porting to the heads, and blower snout, 90 lb/hr injectors, 9.17" lower pulley for the supercharger, ATI balancer, stock ratio roller rockers, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, 1.75" primary headers , TSP blower b cam, double valve springs. Everything else is stock L92 engine parts

Got to work on it a little today, I got a tbe steering flipped to top side, ( which is a lot more involved then it sounds lol), also got my ram mount on. , still lack brakes, and tierods, and modifying my steering arms,

I remember a guy tryin to unload a whole trailer of axle techs at arbuckle last year. Same guy?

I really want to know how well these hold up. Sweet build man. Looks great

No that was a different guy! I know who ur talking bout tho!

These should hold up fine! Holding up good in mud truck world and in a handful of crawlers

Well here is a little update!

Sent blower about to lingenfelter for porting, and machining so there bolt on pulley hub will fit, and have a 2.5 pulley installed ( should be about 12lbs boost.

I also talked to staZworks and had him change up my wheels just slightly, also ordered a 5 light rear steer kit from him.

Ordered a rear steer pump from northern tool.

Hit service bed pulled off the donor truck so it's ready to start on once bkower snout comes back.

All my dom tubing is suppose to be in today.

Got my cab pulled last night and all the wiring I don't need pulled also, only issue I see so far is the ac comp switch plug was in motor harness so I am going to have to keep that ecm plug for that signal I thikk , I could be wrong tho.

Also checked all my interior features and they still work like they should. I also
Pulled out the cluster and everything dtill worked ,
So now I just need to order a stand alone harness and gauges!

You may already know this but NWF will be making Titan front shafts also. They talked like they should be ready soon.

Lat night I built a cart to roll the cab around on, I also took apart some ore stuff that isn't needed , radiator, heat shields , I cut the windshield washer fluid apart from the coolant. Tank. ( gotta have wiper fluid)! Lol

I really feel like there is a good amount of useable room under the hood of this thing. I also looked at moving fuse box up to fire wall where it is out of the way of the shock hoops and looks like I'll just have to splice 10 or so wires.

So far this truck looks like a great platform for a build, only concern is I noticed the tranny hump is real small.

Didn't get to much done on new rig this weekend, I finished welding up and smoothing out the steering plate and got the other axle moved in and the spring pads cut off.

I spent most of yesterday swapping axles in the original money pit so the new owner can pick it up later this week !

Well is update. I got the Moneypit all swapped over and traded off so it's now gone :(, I spent Saturday trying out one of the rigs that I took imnin trade and it's a pretty fun little Sami buggy!

Where my Exo cage is gonna run and for clearance for front tires I will be losing the headlights on the colorado , however I do plan to drive it on the streets so I still need some kind of headlight to keep cops happy, so I made one! Thanks to a led 3157 reverse light bulb lol.

Also the colorado ign sends a ground not a + for a starter signal, so I ditched the hazard button and installed a push button start.

I had some custom tapered bolts made so that u can run the factory steering arms and a 1.25 hiem and not have any slop.

I also will be running moo benders brake brackets that will use 99-04 f350 calipers
