Radio?

So I got a new rig and I'm pretty pumped I want to change a few minor things on the rig such as giving me a place to charge my phone or anything else I may need also a friend told me a master kill switch wouldn't be a bad idea. I've got some idea on what to do there I already have a decent dash and a lot of room to play with. My question to you all is if I wanted to add a radio or what I was thinking was a Bluetooth speaker I could just charge and run through my phone that's where all my music is anyway so I was thinking of something I could just mount on the tube somewhere??

Wet sounds makes a cool speaker bar that's fully contained.

Also you can get a setup by Crawl Tunes or buy the speaker pods and make it yourself.

As for charging the phone, i'd go with a USB plug deal and a regular cable. Something like that :

I'm going to buy a bluetooth speaker. I am not a fan of wet sounds, not enough base and high dollar. I do not like the idea of huge wakeboard speakers hanging around and they are super loud so a portable bluetooth speaker is the best option for me. There are a bunch out there that are weather proof and last all day, then all you have to do is wire a usb charger for your phone. I wish I could figure out how to fit two 12' subs in my jeep, that would be legit!

I've got a $20 blue tooth speaker off Amazon and a cigarette lighter from auto zone/o'riely's. It rides in the passenger seat next to me and if someone jacks it out of the jeep i'm not out $500 on a wet sounds bar. As for the bass and all that I'm not one to blare coon tunes and it sounds alright for country and rock.

I've got one of these pro armor 4 speaker sound bars mounted in my Sammy. In the dash. Fairly small. It loud and very clear. I love it. Had it hooked up in 30 minutes also. If you know anyone that works at Polaris they get them cheaper than what you see on the internet. I got mine for 250 brand new from a buddy that works at Polaris.

I was looking at this one as an alternative to the wetsounds due to price but it has mix reviews online. Seems like a lot of folks start having issues with it after using it for a while. How long have you had yours?

I like my wet sounds bar, sounds great, not a ton a bass but that's not my thing. I had a cigarette lighter plug installed under the passenger seat. Works great.

I've had it for probabaly 5 rides. No problems yet. I keep my rig inside whenever not wheeling. There's a comparison video on YouTube of this speaker and the same size wet sound.

I had it zip tied to my cage in the cab and took it out when at camp to keep the tunes rolling. Not the loudest bluetooth speaker but its drop resistant and waterproof and easy to secure. I got it at best buy since they price match Amazon now.

Where did you find this contraption? I like that... Can you get it with something besides a volt gauge? Not sure what purpose that would really serve. I`d be fine with another round plug.

yeah i get the idea my dash bar is behind the dash so i would have to go behind my head but i like that setup the most so far just wish it was a little cheaper so i could test it out..

Haven't found any cons yet. I wanted it mounted in front of me instead of behind me. So I could reach buttons easier and better sound quality. I haven't had a problems outta it and know a few other buddies that have them and they like them also. Supposedly water proof. I've pressure washed it and what not and no problems as far as that goes. My buddy gets them for right at 250-260 bucks. If you decide you want one pm me and I'll holler at him and see what he can do.
