    Can you scrounge up enough to just run Aussies front and rear. I mean shoot if your going to build a open diff whats that lunch box locker run like 250 new? I would not put the spool up front the new shafts you WILL need cost more than an aussie.

    I sold my 99 to a friend it has 37's and he blew his spider gears. I know that rear end is weak but this truck is a hyway princess. Do you think that axle would hold up to a lunch box locker?     this is a cool build. I personly love leaf springs they are more dependable and cheaper. There is not a single "jeep trail" in Washington that you can't do with a leaf sprung rig. That MHO.

    That link I left on the previous page is for a Vivar with a diffrent name on it cheaper than a PUMA. If you couple that to a storage tank it will hang with your PUMA, be much quiter. Not to mention it's WAY smaller. it's great that you like your PUMA I just don't think it's the best way for...
