    My 60 project...

So are you going to have your rear shafts redrilled? If so, you can still do the same thing, just use 3/4 ton chevy caliper stands, calipers AND rotors in the rear. Using the factory front caliper stands on the D60-2 ensures that the verticle spacing of the calipers in relation to the rotors...

    My 60 project...

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I run the D60-2 from a J-Truck in My CJ7. . .There is a pretty neat trick to this axle. The axle retainer bolt pattern just happens to be EXACTLY the same pattern as a Chevy D44 spindle and, therefore, a chevy front D44 1/2 ton caliper stand so you don't need to...

    Starting to build OBA

Probably the cheapest and easies but most ghetto way to do it is just go down and buy a little 110 compressor with a tank for 40 bucks at wallmart, throw the motor away, wire the AC pump to the pressure switch, plumb in the supply line and DONE. The oil trap thing is a good idea too.

    looking for Bungs and Heims

I just bought my bungs from McMaster Carr for 6.16 each. They are FK Chromoly for the tube size you are talking about. Part number from FK is 2808 and from McMaster 94640 A365. They call them "Tube End Weld Nut" and they have a bunch of sizes. For rod ends, try Central High Performance...

    Name that Knuckle

They are an oddball mid-70's Dana 30 knuckle. Holes are factory but the outter driver was reamed for big TRE's loaded from the top. They are getting drilled to 3/4" for Heims.

LMAO. . .yes, the axle has been modified. . .it is a HP44 center section w/chromoly tubes, Warn shafts, 5.38 gears and an air locker. . .all done up passenger drop like a proper Jeep. The knuckles are the only thing in question. Everything is "normal" on them except the 2 holes in the steering...

not the camera angle, it is the fact that the whole axle is rotated and sitting on the yoke.

    Name that Knuckle

Passenger side knuckle top view: Front View: Whole Axle (just for fun, most people don't see a passenger drop HP44 every day): It has a chevy D44 type spindle pattern and the PO says it is from a waggy, but I've never seen a waggy like this. The driver's side looks the same except that...
