Found some metal on the dipstick. Pulled the pan and 2 of the caps on the crank and found some decent grooving in the races/bearings and felt some smaller on the crank journals. If there are any grooves in either am i just fawked?:mad: Any input would be appreciated.:booo:

I'm trying to plate some tearing on my beer can toyota frame. :wtf: From what i hear you don't want straight edges going up the frame. Is it better to have "Z" type pattern or a "C" type shape for the sides?

Man, sounds like the same problem i'm having with my 90 5.7L TBI. Although when i disconnect the wires to the EGR solenoid and my stuttering problem was gone. So i figured that was the problem. Replaced that and the MAP sonsor and problem is still there.:mad: I guess i need to check the EGR...

Has anyone replaced one of these? I did (for $30) :mad: while i was installing a knuckle rebuild kit and the birf won't spin when the birf is all the way into the spindle. I know it needs to butt up to the birf because there isn't enough spline sticking out to get the outer C clip on after...
