Shoot me some info on where you sourced your driveline parts...I have some old 44 shafts. Probably just need 2 forged 1350 yokes and a 1350 yoke for the d300 front output.

I'm pretty sure it's always rubbed a little bit...at ride height it doesn't touch. Only when it articulates. Probably could have set the new motor off to the driver's side a tad more.

Mine barely rubs the tranny pan, but rubs the lower link hard enough to make a wear mark in the link bar.

Did you mount the motor offset to provide clearance to the tranny? Or does your atlas give you more room than a D300?

If I owned a 3.slow with a blown headgasket, I'd be on the phone with the dealer reading them my VIN number. I know of one guy that bought a rig, ran the VIN with the dealer and they said bring it in.

I thought you were supposed to call the dealer, have them check the vin to see if the recall work had been completed yet? Is that program no longer happening?

If you really want to keep the elements out, then you should hook up with Longfield & take a look at his rig... Bobby & Tina stay pretty comfortable when they wheel in the nasty NW weather...some highlights of what he has done: Custom cut chunk of windshield glass mounted to the front of...

Depends on how comfortable/dry you want to be...If it was my rig I would skin the top with sheetmetal, make sure I had a good heater & go wheeling.
