Oh, for sure. If I lived closer, I'd go back. I just meant for the drive there is much better wheelin for us Central Indiana boys the same distance in the other direction.

I've been to Rocks N Valleys. If you're gonna drive 5+ hrs from our neck of the woods to wheel, point your rig South.

Coming down from Indiana to spectate Saturday. Bringing my wife & son. Friday is supposed to be a washout here so I considered coming down early & bringing the rig just to putt around & show the wife the park. Only my 2nd time there.

I've only been there once, but I'd say it's about as spectator friendly as you're gonna find, depending on the course. Pretty much all the big hills are right off of the parking lot.

Ended up leaving a day earlier than planned but had a good time Friday. Broke my junk at the top of Bents and Dents, then realized the weather we were supposed to get up here in Indiana tonight was arriving about 24 hours early so we packed up and hauled ass back North. Not according to the above mentioned "guru". The most recent forecast says Thursday through the weekend "looks dry" with a high near 60 Saturday.

I'm seeing 1-2"Wednesday night. I'm not scared of the snow, I just know how the entire interstate system shuts down down there over a dusting. Hell, i've gotta drag the the loaded trailer through about 7" to get outta my driveway Thursday morning :****: What's the road going into the park...

Guess I need to look into this weather situation. If there's 9" of snow on the ground, I won't be making that drive.

Gotta say, I might give ya a run for your money on that Kush! Gonna be zero degrees and negative windchills here Thursday morning when I'm loading up. Can't WAIT to head south for a few days!! :woot: Plus I haven't had a day off in 3 weeks, so I'm pretty damn happy to have a wheelin vacation...

X2!! You must be getting the wind we had here yesterday. Was windy and cold as fawk when I left work yesterday. -5 on the way in today. Windchills are supposed to be -20 to -30 today and tomorrow. This blows >:(

What's the campfire situation gonna be? We all chipping in on a community fire or are individual fires allowed? I plan to be social but like to keep a small fire goin at camp for the ladies, cooking, and quiet time.
