1997 ford diesel

okay i'm thinking about buying a 97 f250 7.3 diesel it has a controller from for mounted below the dash is this for the turbo? i'm new to diesels this one has a ton of power

its prob for trailer brakes

no its not for the trailer brake it has 5 buttons and one says rpm

It's some sort of RPM controller for PTO applications I'm told---mine's got the same thing, and I've never played with it----

AIC- Auxiliary Idle Control....Likely. For PTO apps or whatever you need to control the idle for.

Really look at it close i have one and love my truck just always seems like there is something breaking on it..and compared to the chevy it aint got enough power.. i am a ford guy but that duramax and cummins are smooth trucks.

yeah i like chevy to but the price is really good seemed to have alot of power. i have a 90 with 460 and this truck would just completely smoke it
