Primarily ground clearence and durability. I never had any problems with the sidewalls with the reds. The reds work amazing. That's my only reservation is that these wont work as good as the reds. Honestly, I was always very careful not to go full bore into any jagged rocks with the reds. Hopefully now I can push the buggy a little harder.

Figured it was a clearance issue since you have been a Reds guy for a long time.

Yeah if these dont pan out I may look into some 42s.

I rode the 39s on the big axle. The axle did great.

I thought about carrying it out this weekend. If the temperature is still in the mid 90s, it will be staying at home.

Made the gas pedal bigger yesterday. I was having to hold my foot straight up to hit the pedal. Hopefully with the pedal being more like my street cars I can lay my foot more on a side angle and have better throttle control.

Well as bad as it pains me to say this, I'm really liking the 43s. Made a sketchy climb with them on some jagged rocks, didnt worry about the sidewalls.

New 1410 rear shaft. 2.500 od x .250 wall. 1410 non greaseable spicer joints and tig welded.

No, issues. I just wanted to step up to a 1410. Also the old driveshaft was a thinner wall. It had some minor dents and scratches. Now I can have one long slip driveshaft made as a spare for both front and rear.

Just kind doing like the Jeep. Trying to keep upgrading parts and having the next upgrade planned out in advance. Next performance upgrade is going to put reserviors on the shocks. Creature comfort things will be cooler holder and a sound bar. Who know when they will happen.

Was the old one .120 wall? If so I'm cutting it open and sleeving it. :cool:
