I am sure it was on purpose, he did this event the weekend before and rolled it on purpose. It was at some motorcross show up in North AL. He was provding exhibition entertainment before the show.... I bet he will not barrell roll at speed again on purpose thumb.gif

Why the hell would you wanta roll on purpose. I tear up enough crap when I keep it on all 4.
I say put on a good enough show on all 4 and you don't have to fawk up on purpose.

I heard all this third person, but he did the same exhibition event the previous weekend also. After his first exhibition run the promotor said he would get more cheers if he rolled it. So his next run, he turned it and yanked the cutting brakes at some speed and rolled and ended up on tires and kept driving so the crowd enjoyed it. I guess he decided to do it again. Live and learn I guess, but yeah I would never roll my rig at speed on purpose for cheers. Many of rigs have been burned due to rolls at speed.

I was told the dipstick came out as it was not a locking type and started the fire. From there the plastic fuel filter melted and fuel caught fire which is why the flames are so big in the picture. He doesn't have another rig that is his and he was ok. That is him standing there with the firesuit/helment in the pic watching it burn. I was also told the damage was not that bad, but it looks like a big mess to clean up if nothing else.

Damage looks bad to me. With a fire that big every wire has to be burnt and every hose also.

Yeah I was told yesterday it was just melted/burnt panels but looking at the pics I would say they haven't found all the damage yet....

Fire worries me more than anything else. I have taken a nasty endo and some rolls and luckily have not had a fire. Glad to hear he is okay and the rig did not burn completely down.

People do crazy things at big events all the time stop making it like he did something wrong or stupid its his **** roll that sumbitch if ya like it. Glad your ok did anyone get it on video is the ?. :flipoff1: :flipoff1: :flipoff1: :flipoff1:

I agree dont look too bad.
The aluminum links show no signs of heat, and the seatbelts arent even melted.

I'm actually not scared of fire, I'm scared of not being able to get out. With all your safety gear on, you can handle a good amount of heat and a fair bit of fire before it gets bad for you. But again thats firesuit, helmet, helmet skirt, gloves

That is my fear, being trapped and not being able to get out in the event of a fire.
