I'll get her dolled up for the trailer park...

Got started on the sliders today. 1.75 .120 wall slugged with 1.5 7075 aluminum for bash protection. Put a slight curve in it to match the taper of the cab. Cut the rocker for the step. Played with a couple different attachment ideas.

Got started on the hidden steps today, and the rub rail is tacked on. Once I get the passenger side to this point I will raise the cab for the last time. Then the rails will get completed, (cause I hate lying on my back to work...), and the remainder of the areas of the cab that need final prep will be addressed. Once the cab is back down, tubing will commence.

Got the rub rails supported today. Still some light plating to do.

Hopefully the cab comes back down for final time on Monday.

Rubs are plated, painted-(in the areas that will never see sunlight again), and done. Can is back down and about half way welded up. There are a couple inches of weld that I'm not happy with, they will be ground out and redone.

Cab is welded, steps are blended, .188 A pillar/ roof bar in, back half started with .188 main rails.

I have 2 more tubes to hang before I cut the roof. When I get there I gotta clean up. It's getting difficult to work in a mess.
