Christmas valley? i go down there in august every year tohunt... been wanting to hit up the dunes but never had the chance...

The area itself is awesome, its open and has some great views. Cold as **** in the morning but gets hotter than hell in the afternoon at times. Its about an 9 hour drive down.

If you have the money i say do it, it'd be an awesome trip.

I am kicking around labor day but I will have a 2 week old baby so I might not be able to make it this year for that, but they said you can book it privately.... might be worth getting a bunch of people together and renting it for the weekend though.
