I said over and over that I would never live in Jasper. Well that was until I found Smith Lake. Got us a cheap lot on Clear Creek which averages about 75 yards wide and 200' deep and goes for miles= wakeboarding paradise.

Being that I have construction in my blood. I figured we would tackle building a place.
We decided on building a Garage Apartment.

We started with this.

Took 40 something pine trees off of it. I never want to see a chainsaw again. :****:

And then today we marked off the Apt. and got it ready to pour on Wednesday. Dimensions are 34x36 with a two car garage, laundry room, storage, and office downstairs and a kitchen living room, bedroom, bathroom upstairs.

Doing most of the work ourselves with the help of some subcontractors. Sold the Tacoma to pay for the slab and septic :puke: But gotta do what ya gotta do.

Hopefully one day it will look something like this:

Good Luck man, you'll be close enough now to stop by the shop and see some of our shenanigans!

Re: Building the BK Lounge

Poured the slab yesterday. 31.5 yards of concrete. Man this chit is expensive...
