so i swaped toyota axles in my samurai spring under....im having a issue with the tie rod being about 3 inchs from the frame....if i flip the tie rod under the high steer arm it wil clear no problem... so my question is how can I flip the tie rod under the high steer arm...can i run a hime ...I tryed looking online for if anyone else is running in to this same problem but I could not really find anything........any help would be much appreciated

I drilled out the stock arms on my toy front and run 3/4 inch heim joints with a homebrew tie rod. I am spring over though and I don't have any clearance issues.

Bobby if there is enough clearance between the arms and springs run it under the arms with heims. Stop by the shop if you need any heims to mock up to see if it will clear ok.

I've run TG and Marlin Hysteer arms drilled out to accept 3/4 heims. Works great. I run with them on top of the arm. Running them under shouldn't make too big a difference if you need the clearance.
