I think so far the plan is to meet around 9am on Sat in town in eburg. We'll prolly go up 3100 off of Manastash Rd. and then up Barber Springs and into the rocks.

EDIT: Poohbair... I guess I can't read... you said Sunday...

Yeah, Sunday is when Burto said he was going. I have my sons baseball all day on Saturday so I am out for that day... but I may go play on Sunday

I definitely had fun. There was every bit as much snow as two weeks ago, but it was starting to get soggy. It was actually harder to get around than before. I did see one set of new tracks though. There were a bunch of jeeps getting stuck on the main road in, but they were miles out and it was the end of the day:flipoff:

On another note, need to figure out a good weekend to clean up the area right before the entrance to barber springs, there is a slideout camper that has been dumped and the whole parking area is trashed. I am thinking two or three weeks after memorial day.

That camper has been there awhile now....It was there in November when we went over...Had a dead goose inside on the bunk and smelled awful....Looks a little worse now....I agree, that area is a mess.....And needs cleaned up....

When in doubt call the Naches Ranger district and they will gladly tell you what is open and what is not. Another rule of thumb to follow is groomed=snowmobiles only.

I can't speak for the Naches side, but here is an update on the Cle Elum side of the ridge:

Sounds like the Cle Elum side is now open to wheeled vehicles, but still snowed in.
