I haven't fished regularly in years, but this summer while we are doing some camping I plan to do some more river fishing. Mostly for trout...when I was in school and fished on a more regular basis we always used power bait or night crawlers.

I've got some power bait and I'll get some worms before taking off this weekend, but is there a new hot ticket out there thats been working for you guys on the rivers?
:corn:

get a copy of the fishing regs... some rivers have special restrictions,, as in no bait, catch n release, ect.....

I like to cast a spinner up river, and bring it back to me keeping it going just a little faster than the current would take it, letting it drop into any holes.

Or fly fishing is also a lot of fun.
