My question is, are the intruments interchangable from a PS2 to a PS3? I know the game itself isn't, but there are a few vendors on the ole ebay selling drum sets that claim they will...

Hb rocks the guitar hero with my dad and uncle.... according to him, no they don't.

But according to a friend they do but there are certain stipulations or what nots??
