We put the front under her to set her on stands.
Then I decided I needed to at least ge tthe shock tabs into position.

Found some spots that I think need attentionshock tower reinforcements

Those gussets are cute but kinda pointless. When the pattern takes so much out of the backbone that they look like they'll fold in half I would pass. :eeek:

Well, the rig has done ok without the gussets, So anything I do is just gonna make it stronger :)
And I can always add something behind it if need be.
Besides, I really like it when I can flip people off and keep my hands on the wheel :fawkdancesmiley:

And Jacob, Fawkin A am I stoked to get to wheel a rig with real axles again :)
I am foaming at the mouth and the rig has only been here for about 12 hours:haha:

And for the record.I did in fact get caught by my wife making vroom vroom sounds sitting in truck:awesomework::haha:

:beer::beer:

Your welcome, glad to see it go to a good home:awesomework: It was fun bartering with you:redneck: If you need anything to hesitate to call.

You dirty fawker... LOL

So, I got confirmation from J down at Marlin that my Front axle kit has shipped.?Should be waiting for me when I get home.

That means I can wait to buy high steer next..LOL
Tha tis literally all I need to put the front together...
I will be working on the wheels next week I think, then on to the goddamned runflats cutdown session...
I will get those done then see where I am at with the rear diff.I may need to weld it for lack of fundage.
But, Who knows what santa is bringing me. :)

I need to get the seats out of the old car and make mounts for them.

cheers

If it's gonna be a dedicated wheeler, then save your money and just weld the rear. My .02:beer:

pretty sure these'll hold ..Probably my best welds ever.

Subaru EJ to Toyota W or R series transmission(you must state which due to bolt pattern)
IMG_1116_zpsc7f68dc6.jpg

It uses the Subaru hydralic clutch, Soon to use the Toyota hydro clutch :)

Kinda just made room in my shop for further progress, and test fit the bellhousing.
As soon as I take Stella over to swap out her suspension , i will be pulling the franken motor from her.
She will go on the back burner , to become something monstrous later...

I am gonnas take the seats out of her at that point too.

So All in all, just waiting to get hysteer, arp studs, and some misc. to go further with assembly.
Ima take the rims into the shop so they can get warm , and i will paint them .Then **** getting rid of the mohawks on the rubbers,Ima mount them as they are....
I gotta get those in the warm house sos they can get somewhat pliable.

Bla blah crap crap...
cheers

What one?

Edit:
Ah ****, I just read what ya posted: the hybrid motor you built from your other car.

What kinda power that thing put out? Enough to move a heavy yota? Maybe it needs a turbo.:swing::D
