One side main rail is done. lines up well (clearanced the pinch weld to get them up, will make a "bump stop" on the inside of the main rail) and should weld on nicely.

addded gussets to the bottom of the outside of the leg where it meets the main rail.
not sure why.

nice flat edge for the bottom of the bed now, at the factory lip.

and started the rear bumper.
so far Ihave the frame mounts and one reinforcement

2x3 .180 wall fits the frame perfect
2 inch .120 wall, wedled to the inside and outside of the 2x3 for the reinforcement.
now I need more 2x3 or 2x4 for the main bumper frame, and a hitch socket.
or I might cut the socket off of the trailer hitch. If Someone doesn't want to buy it that is.

monstrosity of a rear "bumper"

Now for mudflaps, and after I get a winch and plate, a front bumper.

It all works.
I beat the ever-loving bejeezus out of every piece of armor on this thing this weekend at 676, funny and moon rocks.
I scratched and gouged stuff, and bent my budbuilt belly pan, but everything held some nasty hits, the full weight o the truck with momentum and gravity helping, etc.
I'm happy.
lost my last mudflap though.
They don't do much good in the bed....
