Well I figured I should start my build thread since I have finally started building stuff.
specs-
1997 tj sport
4.0L
5 speed
dana30/35
4 inch lift with 33X12.5x15

I want to build a daily driver and a capable wheeler all in one...
hopes-
dana 44 front
ford 8.8 rear
36" iroks
long arm lift
low trans case gears
selectable lockers front and rear
on board air
and much much more....

Well I started building my front winch bumper. It started as a 3"x6"x1/4" rectangle tubing. The bumper is going to be about 52 inches long and will have 4 light mounts and a winch mount.

well i got the bumper done and i got the winch rebuilt and it is now all mounted!!

Ya, looks like you can hit a few rocks or dead trees and still drive away.
Are you going to wire that 8274 with in cab controls? It sure works nice that
way, you just yell at he winch b*$*H and hit the buttons without getting out
and plugging in the remote. Got any ideas for tow points up front? Should be
easy with that new bumper..

ya me and my dad are fabbin up controls and a control pannel to put in place of the stock ash tray. and tow points are comin but i was to anxious to wait for them. haha and were think up a unique idea for them too!!
 
thanks everyone!!! I did 95% of the welding and grinding...and I have only welded about 5 hours before that. but I was under good supervision as my dad is certified and he welds and fabs all day.
