so two weeks ago i picked up a BONE STOCK 85' ext cab toyota pickup, she ran, she drove but needed work..

i got it with a "shittybuilt" front winch bumper, a detriot locker in the rear and a set of 31X11.5 tsl super swampers on it.. but we all know that just wasnt enough...

well, i very quickly realized this bitch was NOT upto what i was trying to put it through and thats bullshit... so i decided to do a complete tear down and go balls deep in the suspension and step it up a notch..
so 3 days after i went wheeling i drove to a friends place and we started cuting, grinding, fabbing and making **** work..
Well i busted out another couple bucks and got to work.. so i threw in a brand new 2" body lift,custom built a hybrid leaf setup for the front that gave my 4" of lift and cut the front of the frame off and welded on my new drop hanger, custom made a new set of 3.5"X3.5"X1/4" box steel rear spring hangers, hybrid 63" long chevy rear leaf springs with a terra-flex style double shackle setup, brand new 35X12.5 procomp x-terrain's on 15X10 rims,and then a bunch of misc little things here and there....

well now i need new shocks since they are WAY too short! i also have to do a few more things with the shackles and finish getting everything set up right.

but here's a few flex pics, this is MAYBE half flex, i couldnt find anything big enough to drive up on and i wasn't about to drive around without my shocks bolted up just to flex on something...lol

:awesomework: how much did you pay for the rig? loose the body lift:masturbanana[1]:

body lift stays, i need it for clearance with the 5.0L swap i have in the planning.. :;

i payed $300 for the truck running and driving the way it sat in the first pic with a detroit locker(i believe) in the rear :awesomework:

BTW, did this in 2wd with room to go, had to stop so i didnt run over the persons garbage can since i have no idea who's house that is...their driveway just looked to fun to pass up:haha::redneck:
