Reiter Focus Group meeting on the 23rd!

Hi All:

There will be a Reiter Foothills focus group meeting in Everett (at the County Building) at 7pm on Wednesday the 23rd.

We need 4wd enthusiasts to come see what the DNR is up to, and help keep the pressure on them to perform.

Well, the DNR Rep said last night that they will start construction of the 4wd trail section this summer.

Further construction in 2013 if the requested Grant monies come through.

Real world, we will not see 4wd trails open to the general public at Reiter Foothills in 2012. But, there is hope for the future, if we (4wd user groups) maintain pressure on the DNR.

They are detting the ground serveyed where the 2 bridges need to go and then mpre can happen in the non moto area. Design time is for this comming winter and build in the year of 2013 fall fish window. There is also some stuff that DNR and the county needs to work out with the parking area and who is controling it.

I see a lot more action next spring
