Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

Can't wait to make some runs to the rocks with ya man! This thing is turning out sweet...
For sure man, This will be my last buggy I will ever own so it's getting built the way I wanted my last one to have been. This summer will be a good time for sure.:D

So Richard is getting back to it, getting some of the floor/firewall aluminum work done. Not a lot to look at but progress none the less.

Last pic which I assume where firebox etc may go. More pics to come, hopefully it will go off to wiring at Nate next month as things start speeding up to the finish line.

Lots of pics, getting close things left,
Final welding
Regear axles 60/70 Detroit, all chromo, super joints etc
Plumb brakes, hydro steering, fuel system
build dash
switch panel assembly
Wiring, and a few little things. Really glad I found Richard to build this, he has put some of my ideas into form and has been great keeping communication during build so I get what I want. I am pretty picky about keeping the S&N style built into the rig, but some of the ideas he has brought to the table have added to the overall build also. Money well spent.

Now onto some clearence issues, after rim and tire were put on Richard realized that at full flex and turn that the tire contacts the grill so it needed to be trimmed as well, also the tire may just rub the shock but won't be by much, may need to add a 1/4 wheel spacer as it won't take much. Before and after trimming. Grill may get reworked, may not. Richard was pretty bummed when he had to cut the end out as he spent a bit of time on narrowing the hood/grill but everything is cut to fit on a buggy right constantly making things fit. To be continued.
